Bed Sizes Guide

There are many different sizes for beds and mattresses. Whether you are looking for a small bed for one person or a spacious one for a couple, we have it. We offer twin, full, queen, king and California king sizes. Read the following individual specifications to figure out what is the best size for you.

Twin bed is the smallest size available and is sometimes known as a single bed. The mattresses compatible with it are standard twin size (75" x 35"). These beds make for a great addition to a kids' room, as they do not take up a lot of space and offer more than enough space for your little one. People often use twin beds in their guest rooms.

Full bed is historically considered a double bed that was made to have enough space for a couple. Modern bedrooms are quite a bit larger than old ones, so people usually use this size for one adult. The mattress dimensions are 75" x 53", so it is quite a bit larger than a single bed. It is the perfect size for a single adult, but it can accommodate two people in comfort as well.

Queen bed is usually the most popular size, as it fits two people very comfortably without taking up as much space as other bigger offerings. Queen size beds use 80" x 60", so not only is it noticeably wider than a full bed, but it is also longer. If you are looking to furnish your master bedroom without sacrificing much space, this is just the right size.

King beds (Eastern king) are the widest available on the market right now. The mattress size is 80" x 76" making it almost as wide as it is long, which is perfect for people with large bedrooms that are looking to maximize their comfort while sacrificing a lot of space. These beds are usually used in large master suites.

California King beds are the longest available on the market right now. They fit an 84" long mattress that is 4 inches longer than the regular King, but it is also 4" narrower. Such a long bed leaves a lot of space to stretch and is great for people who love spending time in bed. Just like the regular king size bed, its name comes from the preferences on different sides of the US. California king is more popular on the West side of United States, while the regular King beds prevail on the East side.
